SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 0830 HOURS IST:-

Heat wave conditions prevailed over some parts of interior Odisha.

Maximum temperatures have crossed 40.0°C over most parts of Interior Odisha and at isolated pockets of Coastal Odisha.

Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over Odisha. Chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms are Gunupur=2; Bhuban,Paralakhemundi,Koraput and Malkanagiri=1 each.

Yesterday’s maximum temperatures changed little over the state. They were above normal by 2-5°C over many parts of Interior Odisha and near normal over rest parts of Odisha.

The highest maximum and the lowest minimum temperature 45.5 ^oC and 22.9 ^oC was recorded at Titilagarh and G.Udayagiri respectively in the plains of Odisha.
